Coaquaddus is definitely my favorite sandy beach on Sant’Antioco Island. It is located at nearly 10 km from Sant’Antioco town, easily reachable from the village and from Maladroxia beach. There’s a large parking area where you can leave your car, motorbike and camper.
Coaquaddus beach in Sardinian language means “horse tail”. It recalls a Caribbean landscape for the color of the water – which varies among turquoise intense, blue and emerald green- and the thick vegetation and pine forest that surrounds. The beach is both equipped and free, ideal for families with kids. It is well sheltered from the wind and quite busy in the summer months. In the distance, you can admire the Torre Cannai overlooking the Gulf of Palmas and Porto Pino.
