Who doesn’t know the for ever young italian singer and actor Gianni Morandi and his song “get mommy to send you buy some milk”? These days he is shooting a tv series “Pietro’s island” in Sant’Antioco island and Carloforte plus other location of sulcis area. The purpose of this tv series is to show people the beauty of this area of Sardinia still not very common on touristic routes. For Gianni Morandi’s fans the occasion will be to travel to Sant’Antioco and meet Gianni Morandi and his troupe directly on the spot and enjoy the still summerly weather.   2. Hello!! I love this site!. Thanks for the really informative help and advice. My nephew is just turning five yrs old, and he just broke his fingers. Is this to be expected? Do you think he ought to give it a rest or get going again as soon as possible ?

I love Sant'Antioco island and its people. 8 Years ago we decided to buy our Place in this little paradise island and had the chance to experience it all: its colours, flavours, wild nature, beautiful beaches, romans and fenicians ruins, local religious rituals, The food, the wine, the kindness of its inhabitants and even their contradictions. I loved it when we were just a young married couple because of its variety of beaches to visit and its hidden coves to discover. It is also a great base if You want to explore South Sardinia (carloforte, calasetta, porto Pino, teulada, chia, buggerru, nebida, masua....just to name few must see). I appreciate it even more now that i have a 3 Years old daughter: it even offers very convenient beautiful equipped beaches. This blog, Visit Sant'Antioco, is a way for me to share the experiences and the emotions i Felt on this beautiful island somehow still not very common on touristic routes. I hope you enjoy it.
