Bisso: silk that comes from the sea. It is a particular fiber which comes from Pinna Nobilis, a shell in danger of extinction you can find in the Mediterranean Sea.

There is just one person left, custodian of the secrets and techniques of this ancient weaving tradition from which you get the very finest fabrics, gilded by the light of the sun: Maestro Chiara Vigo.

Travelling to Sant’Antioco will be a unique occasion to meet her and visit the place where she works: the Museum of Bisso. She will guide you through the magic of this ancient process.
